Camping Rules:
Camp spots are on a first come first serve basis. They are $125 per spot. You can purchase them at the gate or online at smashitderby.com/tickets.
Most of the camp spots have 30 amp plug ins but some of them are 50 amp. The grey sticker on the box means its 30 amp and the green sticker on the box means its 50 amp. If your breaker blows, please call Kenny Jones to fix it at 614-348-9334.
Campers may begin arriving at Noon on Wednesday May 21st. If you plan on dropping your camper off, remember that it is an extra $30 per day for Wednesday and Thursday and you will need to buy that pass when you buy the camp spot. If you are having someone else drop the camper off for you, make sure they have your tickets or they will have to pay for it at the gate! We had issues with this last year so please send them your ticket and let them know to show them at the gate.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash.
Parents or supervisors are responsible for actions and safety of their children.
Quiet Time: 12AM to 8AM
The "This ticket will allow one entry to event. Ticket must not be duplicated. No refunds. No exchanges" message at the bottom of each ticket when buying a camp spot does not allow you entry into the event. You will still need to buy a weekend pass or one day pass on Sunday to gain entry into the event.
Your tongue has to be facing the road.
3 tents fit in one camp spot.
Fire pits have to be above ground.
If you plan on parking your truck, trailer, car, and/or extra vehicles in a camp spot you must pay for the space used.
All garbage and derby car related trash to be disposed of in proper containers.
Drink responsibly!
NO ONE is allowed to pit inside the track infield this year. After the derby each night, everyone must leave the infield, and the gates will be closed and locked. This will put a stop to all the people climbing the hill. If you are caught doing so at any point the police will escort you off the grounds. No exceptions! We do not want to see anyone hurt.
Golf Cart Rules:
Speed Limit: 15mph
Bash for Cash is a golf carts only event. Any other vehicles such as a side by side or 4-wheeler that shows up will be asked to park it or leave the event. In the past, people would destroy the fairgrounds on these types of vehicles so we no longer allow them. We will not be having golf carts available to rent either. The last time we were able to, many of the golf carts got damaged so no golf cart companies will rent them to us anymore.
To drive a golf cart at the Bash for Cash you must be at least 16 years old. There were too many younger kids driving recklessly last year so that is something even the Ross County police has mentioned that must be done.
At night, you MUST have lights on the golf cart on or you will be asked to park it for the night.
No wheelies on golf carts or people standing up/on top of/laying down on top of any golf carts. If you are caught doing so at any point the police will escort you off the grounds. No exceptions! We do not want to see anyone hurt.
There will be a no tolerance policy on people riding on derby cars. That means that no one can ride on your hood, trunk, or out the window at any point. The only person allowed to be riding IN the vehicle is the person driving and anyone else SITTING DOWN in the vehicle.
If anyone is driving in the pits, doing donuts, or any other dangerous activity with derby cars or golf carts, the police will make you park it on the trailer and escort you out of the fairgrounds. This is your warning!
If you have any questions reach out to Tim Clark Jr at 614-205-5517.
